If you’re trying to find a database system, you may find yourself pondering the advantages between MariaDB vs MySQL.MariaDB is a community-developed fork of the MySQL relational database management system with additions and MySQL code modifications made in order to improve its performance, scalability, and features. It is backward-compatible with MySQL, meaning that it can still be used to store data and run applications that were created using MySQL. So, it’s a version of MySQL, not a separate product.MySQL is the most widely used open-source relational database management system in the world. It is produced as a general-purpose database that is now used for web applications, embedded systems, and traditional desktop applications. MySQL is also known for its reliability and ease of use.

Drawing portraits is fun and fulfilling, but it can also be challenging. If you want to improve, the best place to start is by practicing sketching features of the face. There are two common mistakes people make when learning how to draw lips. I’ll show you how to avoid these mistakes and draw lips that look lifelike. This tutorial will show you how to draw realistic-looking lips in seven simple steps. Materials you’ll need:Pencil for light sketching (2H grade)Pencil for shading (2B grade)EraserDrawing paperStep 1: Decide the length and height of your drawingStart with a 2H pencil and sketch a rectangle to show the length and height of the top and bottom lip. If you are drawing from a photograph, look at how long the mouth is and how high the mouth is. This step is just to get some simple guidelines down on the page, and then we can start putting in the actual shapes.Step 2: Sketch the simple shapes of the lipsTo draw the shape of the lips, lightly sketch in three shapes for the top lip and two for the bottom lip. Draw the heart shape in the middle of the top lip. It will come down slightly lower than the centerline. These shapes show the underlying form of the lips. (Take a look at your own lips and see if you can find the five shapes!)Step 3: Draw the important angles of the lipsMany assume lips are only made up of curved lines, which is the first common mistake people make when trying to draw a realistic mouth. In fact, some critical angles show the expression of the mouth. The key to capturing the expression of the lips is to look at the centerline between them. Six angles usually make up the centerline, which follows the shapes of the top lip. The way the angles slant up or down will show if the expression is smiling, neutral, or frowning. Draw six angles for the centerline. Now we have a map for the rest of the drawing. Before we start shading, lightly sketch the outline of the lips and erase any lines you no longer need.

Technical skills gaps are a common concern for organizations. According to Cisco, 68% of technology managers say the market for certified technology workers is very competitive, and 65% believe there’s a shortage of qualified workers. Many companies are closing these skills gaps through investment in certifications development programs. Technical and learning leaders are looking at technical certifications to upskill their current employees and as a qualification for prospective employees. We can understand this trend when we look at the ways technical certifications lead to measurable business outcomes. 1. Boost productivity ratesTechnical certifications influence worker productivity. Cisco found that certified workers completed advanced tasks 37% more effectively than non-certified workers. Skill Share Business customer Publicis Sapient saw similar results. As a digital transformation consulting company, Publicis Sapient requires its employees to be adept at navigating complex, evolving technologies. Thanks to a focus on deveoping employee skills related to IT certification, Publicis Sapient consultants are armed with the latest expertise across the most critical technical areas today, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and big data. And the results are tangible — 49% of Publicis Sapient employees say training directly helped them be more productive. Plus, with a 20% increase in certification across the company, consultants complete projects faster due to their improved expertise.2. Increase accuracy and quality of workSimply working faster might not be cause for celebration if the speed comes at the expense of quality. When it comes to technical certifications, the evidence shows that employees with these credentials also improve their accuracy and quality of work. According to Cisco, certified workers have 29% fewer errors than non-certified workers. Plus, 66% of managers believe that certification improves the level of service and support offered to IT end-users and customers. Similarly, 44% of managers say certification leads to higher quality output and more effective solutions, according to the IT Certification Council. 3. Reduce project costsLike many business leaders, technical managers are well aware of project costs. Technical certifications — while they require an initial investment of time and money — appear to drive costs down in the long run. Cisco finds certified workers generate 29% lower total costs than non-certified coworkers. According to the IT Certification Council’s report, 36% of managers say troubleshooting takes less time, 33% say teams complete projects faster, and 29% say teams deploy products and services faster when workers have earned technical certifications. Discover how certifications programs translate to business results Driving business success through learning isn’t just about encouraging workers to achieve multiple certifications. It also involves engaging workers in their own development, as Ian Stevens, Head of Capability Development for North America at Publicis Sapient, has discovered. “The feedback we’ve gotten back on Skill Share has been overwhelmingly positive,” says Stevens. “Learners love the ease of use, of course, but also the depth of the content and the reputation of Skill Share Business instructors. We’re seeing the capabilities in these key IT and cloud practices grow significantly, and they’re making a huge impact on the business.” Empowered by a workforce with certified knowledge of in-demand technical skills, Publicis Sapient experienced a 20% revenue growth in 2021 — a $280M impact on the bottom line.

Did you know that Cisco has released two updated versions of the CCNA Routing and Switching exam in less than five years? This means that you need to make sure you are studying for the right version. This is important because, with each updated version, Cisco changes some of the focus areas of the CCNA exam. Evolution of CCNA examsThis section explains how CCNA exams have evolved over the years. It will give you a better idea of previous exam topics and how they update with each version. This also highlights what you can expect on the 200-301 CCNA.Retired CCNA examsThe first CCNA certification was the 640-507 CCNA. Cisco retired it in late June 2007 and replaced it with CCNA 640-802. At this point, CCNA certification was extremely popular because it was a prerequisite for several other Cisco CCNA certifications. These certifications included other Cisco CCNA Concentration certifications and Cisco professional level certifications such as CCNP. During this time, candidates had two testing options to achieve the CCNA certification:Pass one exam (CCNA 640-802)Pass two exams (ICND1 640-822 and ICND2 640-816)These CCNA tests covered several topics, including:TCP/IPLAN SwitchingIP RoutingIP Addressing (including VLSM)Cisco router and switch Command Line Interface (CLI)WANs (point-to-point and Frame Relay)VLANs and VLAN trunkingSpanning Tree Protocol (STP)Routing Protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF)Network Address Translation (NAT)Cisco retired the 640-802 CCNA exam in late September 2013 and replaced it with the 200-120 CCNA. The 200-120 composite CCNA v2 exam was associated with the CCNA Routing and Switching certification. It consisted of approximately 50 – 60 questions and included topics such as:Operation of IP Data NetworksLAN Switching TechnologiesIP Addressing (IPv4/IPv6)IP Routing TechnologiesIP ServicesNetwork Device SecurityTroubleshootingWAN TechnologiesIn 2016, Cisco launched the 200-125 CCNA Routing and Switching exam. In this version, the exam focused on modernized routing and switching technologies. This included exam material on:Cloud computingDNSDynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)Network Time Protocol (NTP)Dynamic multipoint VPN Site-to-site VPN connectivity200-301 CCNA examIn late February 2020, Cisco launched the 200-301 CCNA exam, which replaced the previous exam version (200-125).
